No. 1 Alabama Takes Own No. 14 Miami of the Chick-fill-A-Kickoff Game

ATLANTA (September 4, 2021)—– No. 1 Alabama leads No. 14 Miami 41-13 after three quarters of the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Alabama quarterback Bryce Young kept things rolling in the third quarter with a 94-yard touchdown pass to Jameson Williams — tied for the longest touchdown pass in program history. Young also made history by throwing four touchdowns, becoming the first Alabama quarterback to do so in his first career start.

Miami finally got a touchdown midway through the third when QB D’Eriq King found Xavier Restrepo for 29 yards down the right sideline. Other than that, it’s been all Crimson Tide all day.
