BALTIMORE (April 4, 2022)—The Baltimore Ravens have made some big moves during the 2022 offseason, signing safety Marcus Williams, offensive tackle Morgan Moses and defensive lineman Michael Pierce. However, there is still plenty of free agency left before next season begins, not to mention the draft. That means there are many opportunities for Baltimore to continue to improve.
One way the team could improve on the offensive side of the ball would be trading for a star wide receiver. With rumors swirling that Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf could be available in a trade for the right price, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson began his Twitter recruitment for the star.
Metcalf is one of the best young wide receivers in the NFL, and would instantly make Baltimore’s offense almost unstoppable. However, there are things to think about when looking at a potential deal for the fourth-year player, including the draft capital that the team would have to give up and the looming extension that is set to come Metcalf’s way.
