Le Pen’s , Putin Candidate Could Destabilize the Western Coalition, Le Pen’s Supporters Are Rioting Across France

FRANCE (April 11, 2022)—today  President Emmanuel Macron narrowly won the first round in the France Presidential election against far-right challenger Marine Le Pen.

“Le Pen, a Putin sympathizer, could destabilize the Western coalition against Moscow, upending France’s role as a leading European power and potentially giving other NATO leaders cold feet about staying in the alliance, according to three senior administration officials not authorized to publicly discuss private conversations, according to Politico.

“Le Pen, in her third attempt at the presidency, has surged over the past couple of weeks, as she has toned down some of her notoriously incendiary rhetoric to focus on cost-of-living issues. Millions in France are struggling to make ends meet after a 35 percent surge in gas prices over the past year,” added Politico.

What Voters Are Saying About Le Pen?

“The rioters in Rennes, France started a large fire to oppose the results of the first round of the presidential elections. Marine Le Pen came in second place, only a few points behind Emmanuel Macron. There will be a run off election between the two.”

“Far-left rioters in Rennes, France created a mass blockade in the street before carrying out attacks to voice opposition to the results of the first round of the presidential election.”

“Antifa in Lyon, France carried out attacks on the public using mortar fireworks & arson. They’re angry about the presidential election & are calling for a revolution. Interior ministry recently took steps to ban the Lyon chapter due to violent extremism.”
