TEXAS (May 25, 2022)— at a Press Conference about the murder of 19 children, 2 teachers and 17 injured at the Robb Elementary school, candidate Beto O’Rourke confronted Governor Greg Abbott about when the next school shooting will occur, and what the state is doing to stop it.
The authorities screamed out “sir you are out of rder, but O’Rourke would not leave. “I can’t believe you’re a sick son of a b*tch who would come to a deal like this to make a political issue,” one man is heard yelling at O’Rourke.
O’Rourke confronted Governor Greg Abbot about the referencing of “mental illness” in a campaign stage performance. O’Rourke once “recognized gun safety as an important part of preventing firearm suicides. He claimed he supported… VA providers talking to veterans about gun safety — focusing on safe storage options, and that he would support funding for community-based public education around firearm safety and firearm suicides.
Governor Abbott was attacked by O’Rourke when he was referencing how mental health condition or substance use disorder begins with the criminal justice system.
Abbott recognized that far too many, mental health does not begin until after one interacts with the criminal justice system, like at Robb Elementary.
America the #RobbElementary School shooting wasn't political but deadly. ORourke is a bl….d thirsty politician who cares about his political views and his party. Real American cares about the people and not grandstanding! https://t.co/47uKYGgUy0— @BeeNewsDailyB (@BeenewsdailyB) May 25, 2022
