HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) – Henrico Police are investigating after a man was shot outside of a restaurant in the county’s west end early Sunday morning.
The shooting happened around 3 a.m. at a restaurant in the 7100 block of W. Broad Street.
In a tweet, Henrico Police say it happened outside of a Waffle House.
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Police say he is in stable condition and is expected to ok.
No suspect information is available at this point.
Anyone who was in the area who may have heard or seen something is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
Update Saturday Crime:
Henrico police have arrested 3 men after a deadly stabbing Saturday evening.
Police say they were called to Merchants Walk Shopping Center at 7508 W. Broad St around 6 p.m.
When they arrived, they found a man with a stab wound. He was immediately transported to the hospital where he later died.
Police have identified the victim as 25-year-old Khalid Naseri.
In a separate call to 911, police say three men were at a nearby hospital, reporting a related dispute.
The investigation led to all three men, Norzaad Nassery, Hamauoun Naseri, Jahadullah Naseri, being arrested and charged with second degree murder.
All three are in custody at the Henrico County Sheriff’s Office, held without bond. A mugshot is not yet available for Hamauoun Naseri.
