Former White House Advisory Hires A Legal Team To Defend Against The Grinding Teeth Of The January 6 Committee

WASHINGTON, DC (June 21, 2022)—Former White’s trade adviser Peter Navarro has hired a legal team in defense against contempt of Congress charges after an eventful attempt at representing himself. Navarro has brought on John Irving, a partner at the corporate environmental firm Earth & Water Law Group and John Rowley, a veteran white-collar defense lawyer who manages his own practice.

Earlier this month the former White House  adviser Peter Navarro has pleaded not guilty to contempt of Congress charges after failing to cooperate with the Jan. 6 committee’s investigation.

“The charges against Navarro stem from his refusal to comply with a subpoena from the House select committee investigating the assault on the Capitol that took place on Jan. 6, 2021. The committee had asked Navarro to testify and provide documents related to the Trump administration’s efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.”

The January 6 Committee members face re-elections in their party in 2022 and 2024.  Due to crime, education, and the economy….the elections to hold a lot of surprises for the Democratic party and including loosing both Houses of Congress.
