PENNSYLVANIA, October 17, 2022– First Lady Jill Biden was reportedly greeted with loud jeers from the spectators at the Philadelphia Eagles game between the Dallas Cowboys game on National TV., while she was attending the National Football League final at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
According to Fox News, prior to the match between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, the first lady was booed by the fans when she stepped on the field and stood alongside cancer survivors when the “Fly Eagles Fly” rendition was being played out on Sunday.
The game was a huge rivalry game between the teams prior to the midterm elections on November 8th. The Democratic Party is facing losing control of both Houses, the Houses of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.
Dr. Mehmet Oz and John Fetterman is involved in a heated campaign, and voters are concerned about Fetterman’s stroke and his ability to lead.
“I had a stroke, you all know that,” the Democratic Senate nominee said here Saturday. “I gotta give a loco — excuse me — local shout out to Penn Medicine for saving my life,” said Fetterman.
Dr. Mehmet Oz, has made Fetterman’s stroke, the economy, inflation and crime the central concerns against him. Some have called attention to his verbal struggles, reliance on closed captioning and summer absence from the trail.
The Republican National Committee last week shared a montage of Fetterman’s verbal stumbles with the caption, “Does it sound like Fetterman is fit for office?” Oz has suggested Fetterman has something to hide, recently tweeting:“John Fetterman won’t answer questions from voters, he won’t debate more than once, and he won’t be honest about his health.”
Fetterman’s campaign spokesman Joe Calvello said, “John is clearly sharp and healthy, and he also still has a lingering auditory processing issue that his doctors expect will go away.”
Fetterman’s physician, Dr. Ramesh Chandra said in a letter that Fetterman “has a pacemaker-defibrillator.”
Chandra added with emphasis “if he takes his medications, eats health, and exercises, he’ll be fine.” Chandra did not respond to the voters concerns about his slurred speech and if the stroke impacts his understanding and speaking abilities.
In 2013, Fetterman pursued a colored man and pulled a shotgun on him because he wrongly believed the man, who turned out to be a Black jogger, had been involved in a shooting. Fetterman has not apologized to the colored male and the racist incident continues to loom over Fetterman’s campaign.
The fans booing at the First Lady may have a lasting impact. The effect is that, if voters happen to be undecided, the booing of other voters, place a higher value on candidates who have been endorsed by the Biden’s administration – it is as if they are receiving advise from a valued friend.
