
ISRAEL, October 8, 2024 (Bee News Daily) — A Hezbollah underground tunnel that crossed approx. 10 meters from Lebanon into Israeli territory was located and dismantled.
IDF troops located weapons, explosive devices, and anti-tank missiles in the tunnel.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) uncovered a significant cache of weapons in a Hezbollah underground tunnel in southern Lebanon. Here are some of the items found:
- Assault Rifles: Multiple assault rifles were discovered.
- Machine Guns: Several machine guns were part of the cache.
- RPGs (Rocket-Propelled Grenades): These were found alongside other weapons.
- Anti-Tank Missiles: Numerous anti-tank missiles were uncovered.
- Explosive Devices: Various explosive devices and mines were found.
- Mortars: Several mortars were part of the arsenal.
- Communication Equipment: Equipment such as walkie-talkies was also discovered.

The IDF has officially taken full control of the Lebanese village of Maroun al-Ras, which was used by Hezbollah to launch anti-tank missiles at Israel.
The IDF will continue its limited, localized, targeted ground operations based on precise intelligence and targeted airstrikes in southern Lebanon until Hezbollah is no longer a threat to the civilians of northern Israel.
