BOSTON, MA—(March 19, 2021)–lawmakers in Massachusetts are looking to extend the state’s tax deadline to match that of the federal government.

That would mean pushing back the state tax filing date from April 15 to May 17.

The president of the state Senate and the president of the state house have said they plan to include the delay in a bill that is already being submitted to the state legislature.
