CITY OF WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 30, 2021)—Former President Donald J. Trump and Former First Lady Melania Trump announced the creation of a new website outlining the “magnificent legacy” of the Trump administration.
President Trump and First Lady Melania announced the launch of their website, 45Office.com, on Monday, which gives updates on events and allows both the press and public to contact them. The website’s about page offers a spotless review of Trump’s presidential legacy, stating that the former president “launched the most extraordinary political movement in history dethroning political dynasties” and defeating “the Washington Establishment.”
The website also claims that under former President Trump, “America led the world in reducing carbon emissions” despite being the second largest carbon polluter in the world after China.
“Unemployment reached its lowest rate in half a century,” reads the website, which might have been true for a while in February 2020, but by the time Mr Trump left office there were three million fewer jobs than when he started.
The issue of unemployment under the Trump administration can most likely be blamed on the outbreak of Covid-19 in America, during which unemployment hit a 90-year high (14.7 percent) in April 2020.
The writing of Mr Trump’s presidency also mentions the “aggressive action” the administration took to combat the pandemic which they say: “saved countless lives.”
However, in the early stages of the outbreak, President Trump immediately closed the borders to prevent travelers from entering the United States infected. He later implemented other lockdown measures and wearing a mask, washing hands and social distancing–due to the seriousness of the disease.
The site praises President Trump for his handling of the pandemic by stating that “President Trump, from scratch, built the most robust testing system in the world,” despite being repeatedly condemned for his poor testing schemes.
“No President has done more to build an immigration system that promotes safety, dignity, security, and prosperity for the American People,” reads the page, despite Mr Trump implementing several heavily criticised policies including his “zero tolerance” policy that forced family separation.
“President Trump ushered in a period of unprecedented economic growth, job creation, soaring wages, and booming incomes. Median household income reached its highest level ever recorded. Middle-class family income increased more than five times from the previous administration. Unemployment reached its lowest rate in half a century. African-American, Hispanic-American, and Asian-American unemployment reached their lowest levels ever recorded. And more Americans were employed than ever before.”
The site boost about some of the President’s accomplishments, including that “President Trump signed the Great Outdoors Act, the most significant investment in our national parks since Theodore Roosevelt’s presidency and joined the One Trillion Trees Initiative to protect and restore one trillion trees by 2030.”
” He fundamentally reformed the Department of Veterans Affairs, ending the past era of scandal and ensuring our Nation’s treasured Veterans were given the treatment and care they have earned and deserve. “
“He fundamentally reformed the H-1B program to protect American workers and families. He restored the principle that newcomers to our country must be financially self-sufficient. He empowered Immigration and Customs Enforcement to dismantle criminal gangs and deport dangerous offenders who threaten our communities. He ended systemic asylum fraud, reduced refugee admissions to sustainable levels, blocked the entry of terrorists and national security threats, and banned unsafe travel from regions where proper screening and vetting cannot occur.”
The website also pays tribute to the charity work of Melania Trump, who has previously advocated for children’s wellbeing, saying she will continue to support issues she’s passionate about.
The site concludes by saying: “President Trump knows that as long as we remain faithful to our citizens, our country, and our God, then America’s best days are yet to come.”
