Pyongyang (June 3, 2021)—North Korean leader Kim Jong Un appears to have skipped a post-event appearance for a large political congress held in Pyongyang last week, the first time ever he has failed to show up to take a photo with attendees after an event like this, NK News analysis has found.
Kim has not shown his face in public in almost a month, last appearing on May 6 for a photo after an event for military families, according to state media. But on May 6th Kim appeared slim and younger—in great spirits.
