MANHATTAN, NY, April 30, 2024 (Bee News Daily) — Today, Judge Juan Merchan threaten former President Donald Trump with jail and fined him $9,000 for violating an unconstitutional gag order which allows criminals to attack the President.
Merchan’s issued his unconstitutional order before testimony in the “Hush Money Trial” before testimony began from a banker familiar with accounts involved in the alleged 2016 scheme. Merchan also threatened to throw Trump into jail, while convicted felon Michael Cohen remains free and attacking Trump on social media, including using Trump for economic gain.
The Hush Money Trial has been in session for more than a week, but the prosecutor’s witnesses have not testified that Trump violated any New York laws.
Trump is on trial for allegedly falsifying business records to conceal a $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels in exchange for her silence, but the alleged charges was bought in Court passed New Yorks statute of limitation. The charges also include charges of campaign violations, that the Department of Justice did not bring charges.
President Trump has denied the charges and stated that he is a “political prisoner” being prosecuted by President Joe Biden’s Democratic supporters. Merchan is a democrat who has donated to Biden’s and other democratic candidates. Merchan’s daughter is a democratic fundraiser and is using Trump’s case to raise additional campaign money to defeat Trump in the 2024 Presidential Election in November.
Donald Trump made comments outside the courtroom before week 3 of his “Hush Money” trial begins and said “They took me off the campaign trail, but the good news is my poll numbers are the highest they’ve ever been, so at least we’re getting the word out. Everybody knows this trial is a scam.”
Judge Juan Merchan announced that President Trump may attend his son’s graduation ceremony on May 17th. The Judge had said at the beginning of the trial that he would decide later.
“I don’t think the May 17 date is not a problem, so Mr. Trump can attend that date, attend his son’s graduation,” said Merchan.
